I am an Assistant Professor in Finance and Business Economics at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Finance from London Business School. My research interests are primarily in the resolution of financial distress, with current projects focusing on agency conflicts and bargaining frictions in corporate bankruptcies.
I graduated from IIM Ahmedabad (India) with an MBA in 2016 and completed my B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee (India) in 2014. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a research associate in a buy-side investment management firm, focusing on the valuation of distressed firms.
